Paris again...

Sorbonne 01
Sorbonne 02
May 1968 is the name given to a series of student protests and a general strike that caused the eventual collapse of the De Gaulle government in France. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_1968 At that time I was working not far away from the Sorbonne, where these photos were taken.

I've got a recommendation: take pix with your analogue camera again, as they are totally different & effective in comparison wiht your current style.
it's about half an hour that I'm watching ur photos. they are magnificant.

More on Paris

Kids, Saint Michel
Museum
Tuilleries
Scanned images, 1968

Great image of the kids running! I didn't have a chance to see much of Paris on my one and only visit. Maybe someday I will again be able to see more.... Thu 29-May-2008 14:25

I absolutely love the kids picture..one of my favourites of people that i've ever seen... you have wonderful images on your page..

my retriever is the most lazy dog ever. he does love balls, but he won't exactly 'retrieve' them as much as he goes picks it up and takes it into a shady area where he lays down to chew on it. since my kids are too old to like toys really, he's become the spoiled one in the house with tons of different play things

tenho visto tantas cores, gestos tantos - e palavras palavras palavras - tanto excesso até em mim - e de repente assim: essa pausa, um silêncio.
